Have you experienced any of these things?
- Tried to meditate before but you didn’t experience the benefits they promised?
- Worried about listening to music that changes your brain rhythms?
- Your mind was so busy you couldn’t meditate in the right way.
- Couldn’t get into the lotus pose.
- You got into the lotus pose but couldn’t stand up afterwards.
Meditation is Not Magic
If you search Google and Youtube you will find that most people on the internet who talk about meditation treat it as if it is a magic pill – something that works automatically if you just listen to the right sort of music, have positive thoughts, or fantasize about alternative lives for yourself.
They often set you an impossible goal – to stop your mind from thinking – so, when you can’t do that you think that, you are an inferior person who isn’t able to meditate.

Practical Meditation
Only a few people teach Practical Meditation so it is hard to find a good teacher. There is no need for music, or tying your legs in knots, or balancing rocks on top of each other, or emptying your mind.
You just use your mind. Actually, the first step is to use meditation to develop your mind so that you have the mental tools to take more control of your thoughts and emotions – and your body.
The eventual goal is to control your automatic mind so you can choose who you want to be as a person – it is that big – and it is that exciting!
Regular meditation will help you supercharge your education, your career, and your life.
Meditation is a meta-skill, which means it is a skill you use to help your other skills such as thinking, learning, communicating and decision-making.
My Online Course on Practical Meditation
I wrote the book ‘A Practical Guide to Meditation to Supercharge Your Learning and Your Life’ to go with my online course using Guided Meditations to learn how to meditate, and how to fit meditation into a busy life. The Course is suitable for people who are new to meditation, for children of all ages (as young as four), and for experienced meditators.
In the Course, I distill meditation down to its essential parts and explain how and why these parts all fit together. I have made it as practical as possible.
Every thing that happens to you while meditating will be in your control. You will not be forced to do anything you don’t want to do.
